Your responsibilities will be as diverse as the patients you'll serve and the settings in which you'll work. You will assess patients, whether they are receiving care as inpatients or outpatients, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. Your role will be pivotal as you implement physical therapy interventions that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. Working closely with a team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals, you will collaborate to achieve the best possible outcomes for each individual. You will also take on the rewarding task of educating patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and exercises they can perform at home. Your documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress will ensure adherence to facility and regulatory standards, while participating in interdisciplinary team conferences will enable you to contribute to coordinated care initiatives.

To qualify, you should possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution. Holding a state licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory, and CPR certification is preferred. Special certifications in areas such as neurological or geriatric physical therapy can be beneficial, but they are not essential. We highly value previous experience, as well as your ability to treat patients facing complex medical and mobility challenges.
