The role is grounded in value-based care and supported by a collaborative, clinician-led team in a technology-enabled practice. You may also manage patient panel follow-up, after-hours coverage, and in-office procedures based on experience and scope. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan See approximately 16–20 patients per day in a fully outpatient setting Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to coordinate care and improve outcomes Practice in collaboration with supervising physicians in accordance with Rhode Island regulations Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives Use the EMR to document care and manage patient records Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel Required Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Rhode Island Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) or eligibility to obtain Commitment to delivering patient-centered, value-based primary care Preferred Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives Comfort working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment Experience managing a broad range of primary care conditions Salary range of $120,000–$130,000 USD Fully outpatient practice setting Collaborative clinical and operational support Shared after-hours call model may be available Opportunity to work in a value-based care model Optional in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice #J-18808-Ljbffr Gudwork Inc.
