Job Details
This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, managing month-end close activities, supporting treasury functions, and assisting with financial reporting and tax-related processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a detail-oriented, relationship-driven environment with exposure to complex financial operations and multi-entity structures.
Responsibilities
Manage month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries
Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
Monitor daily cash activity, account balances, wires, transfers, and funding requests
Assist with cash forecasting and liquidity planning
Review payroll activity prior to processing
Prepare financial reports, supporting schedules, and documentation for leadership and external advisors
Support annual 1099 preparation and franchise tax filings
Coordinate with external tax professionals to provide required tax documentation and assist with tax-related requests
Investigate discrepancies, analyze variances, and resolve accounting issues proactively
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and established procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
Experience managing multiple priorities and recurring deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products
Preferred Qualifications
CPA designation or CPA track preferred
Experience within a family office, private wealth, or multi-entity environment
Prior experience supporting high-net-worth individuals or complex entity structures
Background in a client-facing or advisory-oriented accounting environment
