Warehouse Associate

Location: TOPEKA, KS 66609

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and stock incoming inventory in designated storage areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by updating tracking systems as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks or delivery vehicles as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  
  
  Qualifications & Requirements
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory systems, and basic logistics processes.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy items (up to company-specified limits).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math and communication skills for tracking inventory and coordinating tasks.
• Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including cold, heat, or noise.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided if required).
• Flexible schedule availability, including potential weekend or evening shifts.
