Phlebotomist- FLOAT

Job Title Phlebotomist Float – East Orange, NJ Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other clinical analyses. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as needed. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. One year or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1.5 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is required in lieu of work experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation. Minimum age 21 years. Compensation Pay Range: $17.75 – $24.00 per hour. Floater may receive an additional $1.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. Eligible for the PST Incentive Plan and Float Incentive. Benefits Full‑time employees (20+ hours per week) eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
