Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 20:00–08:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for an adult to geriatric patient population across a 63-bed unit
• Work every other weekend as scheduled and observe holidays as they fall on the schedule
• Float within the Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty to lower-acuity areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association only
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association only
• CPI certification required (Calm Every Storm online version is the only accepted online option)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience within Medical Surgical or Telemetry settings
• Comfort with floating within scope and adapting to varying unit needs without restrictions
