Must-Have:
- Low risk pregnancy experience
- High risk pregnancy experience
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- Performance and interpretation of OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening required, Level II/Targeted preferred)
- Routine delivery experience (vaginal required, low forceps preferred)
- Decision-making for c-section
- Complicated delivery experience
- C-section experience
- Breech delivery experience
- Multiple births experience
- Abruptions experience
- VBAC's experience
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations experience


Description:
This position is for an extremely busy OB center.


The practice handles approximately 6,000 births per year.


The night shift operates from 7 PM to 7 AM.


Expected workload includes 5 shifts per month.


The OB Hospitalist will provide in-house coverage.


There are multiple employed OB Hospitalists and community OB/GYNs in the practice.


Additionally, there are two Client-Fetal Medicine groups available.


One group of physicians performs deliveries while the other conducts consults only.


The team consists of certified nurse midwives who deliver in various settings based on the patient's plan of care.


The facility has 24 beds in the department.


Patient encounters per shift can range from 6 to 24.


The facility is classified as a trauma level 4 facility with a Pediatric level of 0.


Candidates must have a clean professional history, including NPDB, malpractice, and background checks.


The ability to work in such a busy environment is essential.
