Job Title: Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator

Job Description

The warehouse worker / forklift operator supports daily warehouse operations by safely operating forklifts, picking and pulling incoming and outgoing orders, and handling inventory, shipping, and receiving tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate order fulfillment and efficient movement of materials within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
• Pick and pull orders for incoming and outgoing shipments according to work orders and packing lists.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including checking, labeling, and preparing products for dispatch.
• Handle inventory tasks such as counting, organizing, and storing products in designated locations.
• Use an RF scanner to locate, pick, and track inventory accurately.
• Lift, move, and handle boxes and materials, typically weighing between 30 and 50 pounds.
• Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move products throughout the facility.
• Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transportation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the warehouse.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors in French or English to coordinate daily tasks and resolve issues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Rose, LA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Rose,LA.
