Plant Lot Jockey-First Shift Hours

We have outstanding opportunities in our production and distribution facilities in Des Moines, IA. Essential Functions and Responsibilities The following are fundamental duties that an individual who holds the position must perform. This is not an exhaustive list. Other duties, in addition to essential job functions, will be assigned at the discretion of the Distribution Manager. Operate the fleet equipment safely and professionally. Maintain the proper maintenance of all equipment Ensure the cleanliness of the truck daily Adhere to all DOT rules, Federal regulations and company polices. Fuel truck, trailer, and Thermo-King daily. Spot trailers for case dock, culture room, and warehouse. Help move trailers for the cooler as needed. Move empty trailers to parking lot.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to deal with people tactfully and effectively Effectively communicate, understand, write in English.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Class A CDL license required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sitting for continuously long periods at a time Ability to climb in and out of truck

PREREQUISITES

Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screen, physical aptitude test and background check within 48 hours of acceptance of a conditional employment offer.
