Strategic Sourcing Manager This is an onsite role in Farmers Branch, TX, Monday - Friday from 7 am - 4 pm Do you want to be part of an organization in growth mode? Hi-Line is a nationwide distributor of over 100,000+ industrial aftermarket products across industries like transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate has a can‑do attitude, high integrity, and a growth mindset. This person should be a skilled professional who is comfortable working with executives at suppliers, able to lead a team, and analyze data to make decisions. We’re looking for a leader who can work effectively with various levels of the organization to get things done, loves learning, and can partner with our Suppliers to gain optimal quality, cost, and availability of products for our customers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage supplier relationships, develop strong relationships with key partners, and identify opportunities to add value. Partner with the Product Manager to build and execute the full lifecycle from adding new products to sunsetting discontinued products. Lead the buying team and own results such as fill rates, inventory purchases, part # set up/maintenance, discrepancy review, alt suppliers, vendor scorecards, etc. Enhance current KPI reporting via new BI tool. Monitor market conditions, supplier capabilities, and potential business risks, and be creative, proactive, and execution-oriented toward solving problems. Analyze current forecast process and give guidance on min/max levels to improve fill rates for customers. Translate data and analysis into clear, actionable recommendations. Ability to professionally elevate issues to get results.
