Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Rehab Speech Therapist to join our team. The therapist will work in a dynamic rehabilitation environment, focusing on the evaluation and treatment of various swallowing and speech language disorders among adult patients.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with diverse diagnoses related to swallowing and speech.
- Conduct Modified Barium Swallowing studies (MBS).
- Utilize specialized equipment including VitalStim and Bioness BITs.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to create patient-centered care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathology License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with the adult population in a medical setting.
- Preferred: Neuro experience and inpatient rehabilitation experience.
