Job Overview

The Sanctuary at Brooklyn Center Senior Living is an affordable, friendly senior living community located near the crossroads of I-694, I-94 and Highway 100 in Brooklyn Center. Just down the street from CVS and CUB Foods, The Sanctuary community hosts 158 Assisted Living and Memory Care apartments. Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident's specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1 year experience
