Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• 18 months of OR experience
• Strong ENT and neuro experience
• BLS (AHA Only)

Assignment Details:

• Shift hours: 10-hour shifts
• Weekend shifts rotate alphabetically and may be scheduled on day or night shifts
• Call requirement includes 4 to 6 late or call assignments per 6-week schedule
• Late shifts are scheduled 1 to 2 times per week
• Overnight call: 11p-7a
• Up to 24 hours of weekend call per 6-week schedule block
• Holiday requirement includes one major and two minor holidays on day or night shift
• Only 1 week of vacation time will be considered within a single contract
