Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• COVID Vaccine Required
• Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine

Assignment Details

• Shift hours include 6:30 am - 7:00 pm or 10:00 am - 10:30 pm
• Weekend and holiday coverage is handled through call
• Call requirement includes 1 to 2 weeknights per week and approximately 1 weekend per month from end of shift Friday to 6:30 am Monday
• Cases include all types except transplant, with CVOR cases such as CABG, valve, pacers, lead extractions, and lung cases, and Main OR cases such as ortho, general, vascular, neuro, spine, ENT, and trauma
• Charting system: Cerner Surginet
