Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Women's Health

SCHEDULE
Days 0645-1915; 3-12s per week, every other weekend

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Contract Weeks: 13

REQUIREMENTS
- Current RN licensure in the state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, renewed every two years
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, renewed every two years
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, renewed every two years
- Experience with the Epic electronic medical record system

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess the health status and developmental level of childbearing women, neonates, and their families.
- Develop and implement a nursing care plan based on identified needs.
- Educate patients and families on self-care and infant care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Support vulnerable patients and families-at-risk to prevent potential health issues.
- Maintain knowledge and competencies in the care of women and infants.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Maintains an awareness of professional standards and issues.
- Participates in ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in women's health care.
