Java Developer

6 month contract to hire. Consultant can be remote during contract period, but expected to onsite once converted.

Need to be very strong w/ Java, microservices, springboot, etc and ideally have solid cloud experience / exposure (ideally AWS).

Hands on Individual contributor

Need to be onsite in either Charlotte, NC or St. Louis, MO at time of conversion to full time.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for design, development, deployment & support of the products he/she own
Make right technology decisions for the team
Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Work as a member of an Agile Software Development Team to help implement new functionality based on business requirements.
Interact with the Business and Customer Experiences teams, facilitate working through technical implementation

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or other relevant field of study
10+ years of prior experience Java/J2EE technology
2+ years in Cloud Platforms - AWS or GCP or Azure
5+ years’ experience with software development methodologies, 4D, Agile Scrum/Kanban
6+ years working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Linux, Unix and Windows.
