Shift Lead

Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of YLS Bakery and Cafe. Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shiftteam. Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues. Communicates information to the manager so the team can respond as necessary to create a synergistic environment during eachshift. Assists with new hires' training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. Provides feedback to the Store Manager on new hires’ performance duringshift. Contributes to a positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in team morale and performance and communicating them to the storemanager. Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback to partners on shift to ensure operational excellence and to improve partnerperformance. Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer-comes-first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs by findingaccommodations. Develops positive relationships with the shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs andconcerns. Executes store operations during scheduled shifts. Organizes opening and closing duties asassigned. Assigns daily and weekly tasks during their assigned shift and manages the team’s breaks. Keeps team members accountable for time management and encouraging/guiding them with more efficient ways to completetasks. Follows YLS Bakery’s operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling (tips) and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during eachshift. Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures the shift team follows proper cash managementpractices. Follow up with baristas during the shift to ensure the delivery of legendary customer service for allcustomers. Maintains regular and consistent attendance andpunctuality. Provides quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for allproducts. Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational tools and by collaborating with the Store Manager to find new, creative, and effective methods oferrecognition. Utilizes operational tools to achieve operational excellence during theshift. Motivate others to perform well underpressure. Required Qualifications: Experience in food service/customer service industry preferably with supervisor/leadership experience (minimum 1year) Must be 18+ Punctual and Reliable Reliable transportation to and fromwork Flexibility of schedule Willingness to cover shifts Desired Qualifications: Great interpersonal skills Must be able to multitask and work in high energy/quick pace environment Looking for long-term commitment #J-18808-Ljbffr YLS Bakery & Cafe
