Job Title

RN – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Philadelphia, PA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician
• Apply principles, theories, and current methods of nursing practice using the nursing process
• Collaborate with patients, family members/significant others, professional peers, and members of the interdisciplinary health care team to individualize patient care
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care in accordance with standards of nursing practice and departmental policies and procedures
• Maintain compliance with administrative and departmental policies; additional certifications may be required based on specialty area

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License or Multi-State Compact RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry clinical setting
