As a Security Officer Access Control in Massena, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting daily operations with teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Screen incoming visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles as required by location procedures, while maintaining accurate logs, badges, and access records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, production areas, and perimeter to identify potential security-related issues and report conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
