As a Home Care Intake Specialist - Bilingual, you will guide clients through the home care service enrollment process, ensuring they receive the appropriate support with clarity and compassion. Your role is integral in connecting clients with quality care resources while managing insurance verifications and client communications effectively.

 

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through obtaining home care services, providing support throughout the process
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement
• Handle incoming calls from clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, addressing inquiries
• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients’ healthcare needs and appropriate care levels
• Collaborate with marketing representatives to stay updated and inform clients promptly
• Assist clients in accessing CHHA, MLTC, CDPAP, and PCA services
• Educate clients on eligibility criteria and care options to facilitate informed decisions

 

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in home care intake or enrollment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder interaction
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with HHA Exchange software
• Knowledgeable about home care services, insurance verification, and enrollment procedures

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Sales experience outside of home care is a plus
