Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Small Steps Developmental Services, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients and building rapport through effective communication and relationship-building techniques.

• Conducting regular individual sessions to assess client progress, stability, and readiness for discharge when appropriate.
\n
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and client input.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes using secure electronic health record systems.
\n
• Performing intake assessments with new clients to understand their needs and tailor appropriate treatment approaches.
\n
• Engaging in individual supervision for professional development and clinical support.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Promoting a growth mindset in all professional interactions and embracing continuous learning opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our outpatient services cater to a wide array of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Clients may present with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• A valid and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) credential, current and active.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting following graduation.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following experiences are preferred:

• Comfort with technology and proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for effective documentation and communication.

• A background in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.

• Ability to conduct intake assessments with a focus on client needs and appropriate treatment referrals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Our compensation model includes:
