Facilities Program Manager

A Day in the LifeThe Global Real Estate and Construction organization leads the planning and execution of facilities, real estate, construction, and workplace projects across Medtronic's global portfolio. By delivering safe, compliant, and effective work environments, the team enables Medtronic employees and partners to innovate, manufacture, and support life-changing therapies that improve outcomes for patients worldwide.Lead and deliver capital projects across the full project lifecycle, from planning and business case development through design, construction, commissioning, and closeout. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and manage external service providers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements while supporting Medtronic's global business objectives. This role will be based onsite at our North Haven Facility 4+ days/week (when not traveling).Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of Facilities Program Management experience OR Master's Degree and 3+ years of experienceExperience managing capital projects and programs consisting of facility infrastructure & engineering projects, manufacturing construction projects, laboratory projects, and/or corporate real estate and workplace projectsPreferred Qualifications:Degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical/electrical), construction management, or related field preferred.Strong financial acumen: experience developing cost estimates, capital/expense budgets, forecasts, and status reportsExtensive experience managing complex facilities and construction projects in med-tech or pharma manufacturing environments, with strong technical knowledge of critical building infrastructure and a proven ability to partner with manufacturing operations to minimize downtimeExperience working within an ISO13485 quality management system and adhering to good documentation practicesProficient with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam); AutoCAD and BIM experienceOSHA 30 Hour construction safety certification or equivalent safety management expertisePMP or PE CertificationFor Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.Physical Job Requirements:The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. PR) locations (USD):$106,400.00 - $159,600.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
