HOURLY RATE: Start $11.44/hr (No benefits)

CONTRACT LENGTH: School Year - Less than 30 hours per week

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Building Principal

Position Summary:

To supervise in the gymnasium/locker room area as directed, maintaining order with students who do not act appropriately according to policy/procedure in the P.E. class.

Duties:

The physical education aide assumes responsibility for escorting students to and from the gymnasium/locker area; maintains order according to the guidelines; maintains appropriate records as directed by the administration. Other duties as assigned by the principal.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma. Applicants must have the ability to supervise students and maintain a quiet and orderly business-like atmosphere. Maintain neat and accurate records. Attendance must be excellent.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 25 lbs. sit, stand, walk, speak, hear and use close vision.
