About the Role

The June is seeking a skilled, personable Bartender to lead beverage service across our club's bar program. This role owns drink execution, bar presentation, and guest interaction, delivering the same standard of hospitality and craft members expect throughout the club.

The ideal candidate is a confident mixologist with a genuine passion for hospitality, comfortable building relationships with members while maintaining a fast, clean, well-organized bar.

Key Responsibilities

Bar Service

• Prepare classic and signature cocktails, wine, and beverage orders to recipe and presentation standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked bar throughout service.

• Manage pacing and multitasking during high-volume periods without sacrificing quality.

• Coordinate with servers and the kitchen to ensure smooth beverage timing.

Member & Guest Experience

• Build genuine rapport with members, learning their preferences and favorite orders.

• Offer informed recommendations on cocktails, wine, and spirits.

• Handle member and guest concerns with warmth and discretion.

• Represent The June's tone and standards at the bar, often the most visible seat in the house.

Operational Support

• Maintain accurate POS entries, tabs, and payment handling.

• Monitor and report inventory, par levels, and ordering needs for bar supplies.

• Uphold all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, including responsible service practices.

• Support bar opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

• Discreet and professional in a private club setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience in fine dining, upscale casual, or private club environments preferred.

• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and wine.

• Comfortable with POS systems and standard bar software.

• Current alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the service schedule.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within a private membership club or upscale hospitality brand.

• Craft cocktail or mixology background.

• Experience supporting private events or member programming.
