Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Family Medicine

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Provide primary care services and preventive health advice
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff
• Document patient interactions accurately and thoroughly
• Participate in health education sessions for patients and families
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Respond to patient inquiries and address concerns
• Stay current with medical practices and advancements

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Current NP or PA license in the state of practice
• Strong clinical competencies in family medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Commitment to high-quality patient care

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

No call required

Outpatient only

Daily Volume: 18-20 patients

Patient Population: All ages

Appointments: 30 minutes for new patients, 15 minutes for follow-ups

Support Staff: MA, RN, and PSRs

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

BLS required
