This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work near Chatham and Gretna, VA with students at the elementary level. While the primary focus will be on one site, there may be minimal travel between nearby school locations.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience working in a school setting or with elementary-aged children is highly desired
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques based on individual student needs and IEP goals

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students in individual and group settings
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and clearly document findings
• Develop, update, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary teams as needed
• Keep thorough records of therapy sessions, progress, and compliance with district policies
