Beloit Health System is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse - Device Checks to support the monitoring and management of cardiac implantable electronic devices, including pacemakers, ICDs, and loop recorders as part of our Cardiovascular Services Team. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with cardiologists, electrophysiology providers, and patients to ensure accurate device assessments, optimize therapy, and deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative and fast-paced cardiovascular environment. Shift: 1stSchedule: 8a-5pHours per week: 40 hours per weekBenefits Status: Benefits EligibleDepartment: Cardiology - Device ChecksThis Registered Nurse Clinic in the Device Checks Clinic will provide nursing care for patients as part of our Cardiology Team in our Device Checks Department. This RN will need specialty knowledge of implanted cardiac devices. If you are passionate about heart health and patient care, then this is the Registered Nurse opportunity for you. The Registered Nurse Clinic:Assists provider with procedures and provides necessary nursing care and procedures as necessaryDemonstrates the ability to navigate and perform functions accurately and efficiently with computer software applicationsReceives and handles telephone calls to departmentAdministers and maintains current medicationsAssists with placement, education, and monitoring of cardiac devicesStrictly adheres to infection control procedures including body substance isolation and bloodborne pathogen precautionsJob Requirements:Graduate of accredited school of nursingADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN degree acceptable.State of Wisconsin nursing licensure, compact license or temporary permit required. (If a compact license, application for a State of Wisconsin nursing license must be initiated in no more than 30 days from start date).Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire.Knowledge of implanted cardiac devices helpful, but willing to train.Apply today to join our team!
