Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst is a cross-functional role supporting enrollment and member/provider services areas. This role involves the implementation of new systems and providing critical operational support. The Analyst ensures alignment between different workstreams and helps maintain data accuracy and system functionality. They serve as a connector between business operations, IT, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities during the Implementation Period include:

• Testing support, including user acceptance testing, regression testing, and validation of system behavior.
• Data migration checks for enrollment, demographic, provider, and related datasets.
• Reviewing configuration for accuracy and completeness across both systems.
• Tracking issues, triaging defects, and following up for timely resolution.
• Developing and updating process documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Supporting operational readiness and stabilization planning ahead of go-live.

Responsibilities include coordinating between enrollment and member/provider services:

• Mapping and managing integration points between workstreams.
• Ensuring requirements are aligned across functional areas.
• Coordinating workflow changes impacting multiple teams.
• Identifying and preventing duplication or conflicting decisions between departments.

Post-implementation responsibilities include:

• Providing ongoing system maintenance and configuration support.
• Serving as the first line of support for operational issues.
• Overseeing data quality checks and reconciliation activities.
• Refining workflows and supporting continuous process optimization.
• Liaising between operations, IT, and vendors on system enhancements and issues.
• Helping maintain a positive member and provider experience by ensuring operational continuity.
• Preserving and documenting institutional knowledge gathered throughout the implementation.
