SNIPES serves communities through its localized approach, supporting the needs and celebrating our culture. The Manager in Training will fully manage the store's staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. This is an entry-level management role within the store level.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability
• Assist Store Manager/Assistant Manager with store goals and directives
• Assist Store Manager in monitoring and evaluating individual performance
• Demonstrate proper leadership skills to manage store staff
• Assist in executing floor set guides and promotions
• Assist in maintaining merchandise presentation
• Recognize and communicate customer merchandise needs
• Work with Store Manager to ensure markdowns and transfers are completed
• Assist in maintaining store cleanliness

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• At least 2+ years' experience in retail preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus
• Ability to respond to store alarm problems
• Communication and organizational skills
• Strong drive to achieve results
• Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift between 15-30 pounds
