Lead Scaffold Builder

We are seeking an experienced Scaffold Leadman to lead scaffold crews on industrial construction, maintenance, and turnaround projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity who can effectively supervise crews while ensuring scaffolding is erected and dismantled in accordance with all applicable standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise scaffold crews on industrial and commercial job sites. Read and interpret scaffold drawings and project specifications. Plan daily work activities and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials. Ensure scaffolds are erected, modified, and dismantled safely and efficiently. Conduct daily safety meetings and job hazard assessments. Inspect scaffolding for compliance with OSHA and company standards. Train and mentor scaffold builders and helpers. Coordinate with project management, clients, and other trades to maintain project schedules. Complete required documentation including inspections, timekeeping, and daily reports. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of scaffold construction experience. Previous experience leading scaffold crews required. Thorough knowledge of OSHA scaffold regulations and industry best practices. Ability to read scaffold drawings and work plans. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as project needs require. Valid driver's license preferred. Scaffold Competent Person certification is preferred.
