Dishwasher PositionProvider Contract Food Service specializes in providing culinary and hospitality excellence to our clients for the past 20 years. From the hearts of our culinary team to the mouths of the customers we serve, you can taste the love in our food. Our operations consist of Cafes, Catering and Restaurants serving 30000+ meals weekly.Our location at Arizona Christian University, AZ, is currently looking to build our Food Service Team in the position of Dishwasher.The dish and general utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glasses, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine.Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.Change the dishwater in the dish machine every hour.Wash pots, pans and trays by hand.Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster.Set up or break down dishwashing area.Clean and roll/unroll mats.Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.Sweep/mop floors.Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.Do not touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without washing hands first.Other duties as directed.To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Customer/Client FocusCommunication ProficiencyThoroughnessTime ManagementWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to: stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; pulling or pushing, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend and talk or hear.
