Our attorneys handle both complex disputes and transactional matters, providing practical counsel throughout the lifecycle of construction projects.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic mid-level Associate Attorney to join a high-performing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and construction law and be ready to make an immediate impact by providing legal counsel and support to a diverse client base. This role offers exposure to a broad range of matters, from complex construction disputes to general litigation, within a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and support to clients within the construction industry.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including case analysis, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategy and client matters.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to develop effective strategies for complex cases.
• Stay current on legal developments related to construction law and general litigation.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys and legal support staff.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of attorney experience, with a focus on litigation and construction law.
• Active membership in good standing with the applicable State Bar.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience drafting and interpreting legal documents.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• High ethical standards and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms and legal technology tools.
