Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule: 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week, Every Other Weekend

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute rehab and will utilize clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. This position requires effective collaboration with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans and to evaluate patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with healthcare team to create and evaluate a comprehensive plan of care based on assessments.
• Monitor, assess, and detect patient needs, planning and implementing actions to prevent physiological complications.
• Demonstrate leadership by serving as a clinical resource and professional role model.
• Utilize effective communication strategies within interdisciplinary teams.
• Exhibit enhanced time management skills to contribute to team performance and patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute rehabilitation is required. Current BLS (AHA) certification and a valid Michigan state license as a Registered Nurse are also required.
