We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mixologist to join our team at a unique Craft Cocktail Bar and Dispensary. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating exceptional craft cocktails infused with cannabis, providing an unforgettable experience for our customers. Your creativity, extensive knowledge of mixology, and passion will contribute to the success of our establishment. Responsibilities Cocktail Creation and Menu Development Develop and create a diverse menu of craft cocktails infused within the industry, showcasing creativity and innovative techniques. Use expert knowledge of mixology to curate unique flavor combinations that complement the specific effects of hemp/THC. Stay updated on current mixology trends, ingredients, and techniques to continuously enhance the cocktail menu. Collaborate with bar management and dispensary staff to incorporate infused ingredients and products into cocktails. Exceptional Customer Experience Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, discussing their preferences, and recommending suitable THC/hemp-infused cocktails. Create a welcoming and lively atmosphere, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Educate customers about the different strains, flavors, and effects of THC/hemp-infused cocktails, promoting responsible consumption. Customize cocktails according to individual preferences and dietary restrictions. Beverage Preparation and Presentation Prepare and mix cocktails with precision, ensuring consistency and high-quality standards. Utilize various mixology techniques, such as muddling, shaking, and stirring, to create visually appealing and delicious beverages. Garnish cocktails creatively to enhance presentation and sensory experience. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the serving of cannabis-infused beverages. Inventory Management and Collaboration Collaborate with bar management and dispensary staff to maintain an adequate inventory of cannabis-infused ingredients, spirits, and bar supplies. Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking. Assist in creating purchasing orders and maintaining accurate records of inventory and expenses. Safety and Compliance Adhere to strict health and safety standards, including proper handling of cannabis-infused ingredients, equipment, and sanitation practices. Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations regarding the preparation and serving of cannabis-infused beverages. Collaborate with management to implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures. Qualifications and Requirements Proven experience (2+ years) as a Mixologist or Bartender in a high-volume bar or restaurant. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, and flavor profiles. Passion for the cannabis industry and familiarity with different cannabis strains, terpenes, and effects. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse clientele. Creativity and ability to develop innovative and unique cannabis-infused cocktails. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in beverage preparation. Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to the cannabis industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
