Explore opportunities to be part of our dynamic team at the Energy Plant Unit and contribute to groundbreaking projects that redefine the onshore and offshore industry. #OneEPU Position Overview The Payroll Specialist will manage day-to-day payroll operations while supporting PEO exits, payroll transitions, and payroll system implementations, with a strong focus on ADP. This role partners with HR, Finance, Benefits, employees, and external vendors to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience transitioning from a PEO to a standalone payroll solution, including payroll data migration, system configuration, testing, reconciliation, and go‑live. Experience with ADP, Justworks, and Lockton is highly preferred. Key Responsibility Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing, including payroll inputs, deductions, benefits, taxes, reconciliations, and payroll reporting. Lead or support PEO exit and payroll transition activities, including employee data validation, migration, final PEO reconciliation, and operational readiness. Support ADP payroll implementation, including requirements gathering, configuration, data migration, testing, parallel payroll, troubleshooting, and go‑live. Maintain accurate employee and payroll data across HRIS, payroll, benefits, and timekeeping systems. Partner with Justworks, Lockton, ADP, and other external providers to coordinate payroll, benefits, and employee transitions. Reconcile payroll, benefits, deductions, and financial data and resolve discrepancies promptly. Respond to employee and manager payroll questions while maintaining confidentiality and strong customer service. Ensure payroll processes comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, automation, and overall employee experience. Qualification Minimum 5 years of hands‑on payroll experience, preferably in a multi‑state or corporate environment. Demonstrated experience with PEO exits or PEO‑to‑standalone payroll transitions. Hands‑on experience with payroll system implementation, migration, testing, and go‑live. ADP experience strongly preferred, particularly ADP implementation or conversion experience. Experience with Justworks and/or Lockton preferred. Strong knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, benefits deductions, and compliance. Strong Excel and data reconciliation skills. Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential information.
