The candidate for this position will have a good mechanical aptitude, diagnostic ability across multiple engine platforms and the willingness to learn from our team of skilled technicians.Job Responsibilities:Ability to perform basic repairs on diesel engines, fuel systems and vehicle drive line components, such as turbo replacement, injector replacement & electrical systems, with efficiency and accuracyUpfitting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and pumping systems on trucks. Including installing PTO’s, blowers, and pumpsObserve, listen, and follow instructions given by senior techniciansCommunicate effectively, perform all entry level tasks, and demonstrate mechanical aptitudeAssist with general shop dutiesJob Requirements:Good mechanical aptitudeWillingness to learn and grow your abilitiesAbility to lift up to 70lbsAbility to use proper tools and equipment to perform daily mechanical functionsGood problem solving skillsA collection of appropriate hand tools to work on diesel enginesHigh school diploma or equivalent, technical or trade school- We are willing to train you!D&W Diesel, Inc. is employee owned, $125 million business with over 350 employees in 8 locations.
