The RN responsibilities include:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
• Nursing Specialty Certification is preferred

Education:

• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
• Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience:

• 2 years of PCU RN experience in acute care

• Clinical skills appropriate to position

Facility: BayCare Health System, Staffing Resource Office

Location: Float between a region of hospitals.

Region 1 includes St Anthony's Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay

Region 2 includes BayCare Wesley Chapel, St Joseph's, St Joseph's North and St Joseph's South

Region 3 includes Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist, Winter Haven Hospitals

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No (3x12 hour shifts per week)

Shift Hours: 6:45AM- 7:15PM

On Call : No

Weekend Work: Every 3rd weekend to include 2 Sunday shifts in 6-week schedule
