Job Description Cedars‑Sinai Cancer’s Patient and Family Support Program (PFSP) is committed to supporting patients and their families as they confront the challenges of cancer. We provide resources to help patients prevent and relieve physical, psychological, social and spiritual suffering; plan their future; achieve life goals and navigate any care changes. What Will You Be Doing In This Role The Clinical Nurse II is cross‑trained to cover multiple providers and is a resource for specialties within the program including Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Supportive Care Medicine, Cancer Rehabilitation, Social Work and Clinical Nutrition. This role will manage patient portal messages and calls for triage of symptoms, prescription refills, and conduct meticulous chart notes for all communication with patients, pharmacies, insurance companies, and etc. Qualifications – Education Associate Degree/College Diploma – minimum Bachelor's Degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (state accredited program) – preferred Experience 1 year mandatory for external hires in their specialty for new hires. Promotion to Clinical Nurse II is automatic after completion of one year of clinical experience and satisfactory performance appraisal at a Clinical Nurse I level. Licenses and Certifications RN State License – mandatory California State RN License upon hire Basic Life Support (BLS) – mandatory BLS certification upon hire Other – mandatory 1 year of other competencies required by specialty unit (ex.
