Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting, maintaining clinical standards appropriate to acuity level
• Work a rotating day and night schedule, including availability to work weekends as scheduled
• Float to approved satellite NICU locations as needed; mileage reimbursement provided for travel beyond assigned home base facility
• Work 2 of the following 3 holidays (including holiday eves): Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Complete required pre-start modules and maintain compliance documentation per facility requirements
• Chart accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license (pending license accepted with confirmed ETA for posting)
• Minimum 3 years of NICU Level 3 or higher experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or teaching hospital environment
• Pediatric experience in a children's hospital setting
