Join us and be part of something built to last.We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Texas and take a leadership role within our geotechnical division. This is a key position responsible for technical oversight, business development, and project delivery. If you're a licensed professional engineer with deep technical expertise and strong client relationships, we invite you to help shape the future of our geotechnical services.Compensation: $120,000 to $140,000 depending on experience Location: Houston, TX FLSA Exemption: Exempt Schedule: Hours may varyWhat you'll be doing:Lead geotechnical engineering efforts across a wide range of projectsDevelop and price proposals, including scopes, schedules, and budgetsDirect field investigations and provide technical guidance to field staffPlan and conduct geotechnical exploration programsPerform geotechnical analyses, calculations, and prepare technical reportsMaintain and grow client relationships across public and private sectorsIdentify training needs and mentor junior staff to achieve performance goalsParticipate in strategic planning and execute marketing effortsCoordinate with other internal departments (e.g., special inspections, lab testing)Perform occasional office administration tasksWhat you have:Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field10+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering within TexasStrong technical background in soil mechanics and engineering geologyWorking knowledge of geotechnical, materials testing, and special inspection servicesProven ability to manage projects and lead high-performing technical teamsExisting client base and revenue-generating relationshipsExcellent communication and team collaboration skillsValid Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseWhat will make you stand out:Track record of successfully leading complex geotechnical projectsExperience integrating geotechnical services with materials testing and inspectionsStrong network in Texas' AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industryAbility to creatively solve engineering problems and mentor othersPreferred Certification(s):Texas P.E.
