Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Midwest region as a Behavioral Health Physician Associate Fellow. This role involves conducting face-to-face assessments and delivering healthcare services under the general supervision of the Medical Director. You will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and fostering respectful relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Essential Functions- Perform comprehensive health assessments in accordance with organizational policies.
- Complete face-to-face assessments within required timeframes.
- Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to discuss assessment findings, care needs, and update care plans.
- Maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, co-workers, physicians, and referral sources.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation following agency policies.
- Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Proficiency with MS Office software and keyboarding skills.
- Strong communication abilities and multitasking skills.
- Ability to apply advanced nursing principles effectively.

- PA-C credential with a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies required; Master's degree preferred.
- Psychiatry experience, including inpatient care, is preferred.
- Current Physician Assistant licensure in the state of practice.
- Valid NPI and DEA numbers.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification; if not American Heart Association (AHA), AHA BLS must be obtained within three months of hire.
- State driver's license and auto insurance meeting state requirements.
