Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll play a vital part in student communication growth, conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering therapy for a diverse group of elementary learners. Direct and indirect service delivery, coupled with close collaboration with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families, make this an engaging and fulfilling position.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Texas SLP license (required)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred (especially with elementary students)
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, writing IEP goals, and documenting progress
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized speech and language therapy to an elementary caseload
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to IEP development
• Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
• Coordinate with educational teams and families to ensure student success
