Performs basic food preparation tasks, maintains cleanliness, and follows all food safety and sanitation standards.Bistro Prep Cook DutiesWashes, cuts, measures, and portions ingredients according to recipes and production needsPrepares basic components such as sauces, dressings, and garnishesLabels, dates, and properly stores prepared ingredientsStocks and organizes prep stations and kitchen supplies for serviceAssists cooks with basic recipe preparation and food assemblyEnsures ingredients are readily available to support efficient workflowFollows all food handling, sanitation, and hygiene standardsMaintains proper food storage and temperature controlsComply with company policies and local health regulationsCleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils, and equipmentMaintains an organized and hazard-free kitchen environmentAssists with dishwashing and waste disposal as neededConfirms work is accurate and in compliance with instructions and established procedures.
