Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Flightline Operations Manager – 777/x Preflight & Delivery Operations Team (2nd shift, Everett, Washington) Position Responsibilities Manage, develop, and motivate employees using best practices and regular employee feedback. Ensure air vehicles are completed and certified for airworthiness by overseeing final paint installation, modification, repair, and delivery preparation. Interface with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and secure customer acceptance. Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and achieve operational goals for quality, on-time delivery, and cost control. Secure resources for projects and processes, provide technical oversight of suppliers, and lead continuous process improvements. Oversee and approve technical approaches, process changes, and adoption of lean principles. Promote a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and teamwork; influence the team to demonstrate Boeing Values and Behaviors. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) 3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent military experience. Must have a FAA certification/license. Willingness to work any shift based on the needs of the operation. Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends. At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large-scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.” Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) 3+ years of flight line operations experience & functional test knowledge. 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal or informal role. 3+ years of experience with avionics, troubleshooting, functional test knowledge, release ticket experience, manufacturing, and/or structures. 3+ years of proficiency using CMES (or similar industry software). 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry. Bachelor's degree or higher. Shift Primarily 2nd shift; additional shift requirements may arise to support program objectives.
