Sr Electrical Engineer

Lead electrical system design, power engineering analysis, and multidisciplinary project execution for industrial, institutional, government, healthcare, and commercial facilities. Job Requirements U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident required. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering required. 10-15 years of relevant electrical engineering experience. Experience designing electrical systems for industrial, higher education, healthcare, federal government, and/or commercial projects. Proficiency with AutoCAD. Proficiency with Revit. Project management experience and/or related certifications. Experience with electrical modeling software such as SKM, ETAP, or similar platforms. Knowledge of applicable electrical and energy codes and standards, including: NEC. IEEE. NESC. IESNA. IECC. Experience interpreting technical drawings and construction documents. Experience managing project budgets and schedules. Preferred Skills Experience with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). Local AEC industry experience. Experience with lighting design. Experience with telecommunications system design. Experience with audio/visual system design. Experience with cybersecurity-related facility systems. Experience with security system design. Experience developing fee-based and qualifications-based proposals. Job Responsibilities Design electrical systems for industrial, institutional, healthcare, government, and commercial facilities. Manage multiple concurrent electrical engineering projects. Lead electrical design activities and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams. Perform electrical system modeling and analysis using SKM, ETAP, or similar software. Develop electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation. Review designs for compliance with NEC, IEEE, NESC, IESNA, IECC, and other applicable codes and standards. Interpret architectural, mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings. Manage project budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables. Coordinate electrical design requirements across multiple engineering disciplines. Develop fee and qualifications-based project proposals. Support lighting, telecommunications, A/V, cybersecurity, and security system design activities as applicable.
