About the Position
TransForce is seeking a reliable CDL A Flatbed Driver for a local driving opportunity in Kansas City, Missouri. This position involves operating a day cab with an automatic transmission and hauling no-touch freight on a consistent Sunday-through-Thursday schedule. You will drive to Lincoln, NE and back with a 48' flatbed.
Pay & Schedule
- $30 per hour
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Estimated weekly gross pay: $1,300
- Sunday - Thursday, 6 PM dispatch
Job Details
- Average of 7–10 stops per day.
- Hauls raw steel, sheet metal, and similar materials.
- Equipment: 48-foot flatbed trailer and automatic day cab.
Key Responsibilities
- No-touch freight; Strap and secure loads daily.
- Re-secure loads throughout the day as needed.
- Tarp as needed and during winter months.
- Perform standard pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
