Senior Accountant

A well-established construction and infrastructure company in Central Florida is hiring a senior accountant to own general accounting and the monthly close. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role working directly with the controller and CFO, on-site five days a week. Required Qualifications Approximately 2 to 4 years of hands-on accounting experience Strong QuickBooks working knowledge Hands-on experience preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end close Experience with revenue recognition and recording payroll Working knowledge of GAAP Ability to work on-site five days a week in the Orlando area Preferred: construction or other project-based accounting background Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts each month Record revenue and payroll Support and help drive the monthly close Keep the books GAAP-compliant Partner directly with the controller and CFO #J-18808-Ljbffr Career Movement
