Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.

• Become familiar with Geotechnical Engineering through job training and continuing education.

• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements.

• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status.

• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.

• Design geotechnical solutions for each project including design package (design calculations and installation plans).

Requirements

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.

• Willing to relocate to Billings, Montana.

• Pass EIT examination.

• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.

• Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).

• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.

• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.

• Decision making ability and leadership skills.

• Time management and organization skills.

• Commitment to exceeding customers' expectations.

• Ability to think big picture and consider long-term implications of ones' actions.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Proactivity with a drive to complete objectives.

• Willingness to learn and work under PE supervision.
