Edison Chouest Offshore affiliate LaShip is accepting applications for the position of Shipfitter.

Functions

  • Locates and marks reference lines, such as center and frame lines.
  • Aligns parts in relation to each other.
  • Marks locations for holes that are to be drilled.
  • Installs packing, gaskets, liners, bearings, and other structural accessories.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and write alphabetically and numerically.
  • Must be able to pass company specified layout, cutting, and burn test.
