Phlebotomist

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in De Pere, WI. The position requires performing venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, managing specimen data entry and billing, and providing superior customer service while supporting laboratory operations. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a certified training program, OR at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or within a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience). Preferred Qualifications 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
